Ancient Egyptian Tarot
A popular deck which has equal numbers of female and male cards in the Minor Arcana.
Norse Tarot
Unfortunately the Norse tarot has been out of print for a while but may

in the Minor Arcana.
Rider-Waite Tarot
Have the patience to let this complete view of the Rider-Waite Tarot
download, as it's well worthwhile, especially if you are new to Tarot Card
reading and are looking at decks with a view to buying a set of cards for
yourself. The Rider-Waite Tarot is one which many beginners choose. Its
colours are bright and the images are rather medieval. It was the first deck
to overcome the problem of lack
of illustration in the Minor Arcana. Variations on this deck are also available
here and
then search on Radiant Rider-Waite. Explanatory books are widely available
for the Rider-Waite Tarot.
Scapini Tarot
A richly illustrated, medieval style of Tarot which may be of interest to
more experienced readers.Truly splendid!
Arthurian Tarot
Popular with followers of the legend of King Arthur, this deck has the four suits renamed, which might confuse beginners but it is nicely illustrated. Those especially interested in Merlin may like to read this.

If you are choosing a deck for the first time, look around on the www, go to your local bookshops and see if they have some cards in stock and make sure you are comfortable with the illustrations before you buy a deck. If you are new to Tarot reading, buy the book which is written for the deck you purchase, as there are variations in Tarot decks.
